About

Hands-On cadaver workshop will be conducted by experienced faculty members and will include lectures, interactive sessions, and hands-on experience. 

The workshop will present advanced interventional procedures, such as denervation of the basivertebral nerve and peripheral nerve stimulation. The programme is designed to equip participants with an in-depth and comprehensive understanding of the subject matter.

Additionally, the practical applications of the distinctive 7StarScope device will be explored. This device is a unique combination of ultrasound and a needle-sized endoscope. 

The workshop is limited to a small number of participants.

Aim of the course

This course teaches the latest advances and advanced procedures in pain management.

The course is for pain physicians (pain specialists, anesthesiologists, neurosurgeons, orthopedists) who want to learn about pain management and the latest developments in interventional techniques.

The course will teach advanced techniques, build on previous knowledge and teach new procedures to improve the physician’s skills. After the course, participants will be able to use ultrasound and fluoroscopy in pain management to help their patients..

Robert Rapcan, MD, FIPP, MBA, PhD, the founder of the Interventional Pain Academy will lead the international faculty.
The speakers are experts in their fields and world-renowned experts.

They focus on evaluating and streamlining clinical algorithms and standards for back pain treatment, introducing new relevant parameters, addressing new treatment procedures and technologies, and contributing to the further development of systematic internal education, professional publishing, and lecture activities.

The course participants wil be divided into 4 groups with 4 workstations at their disposal. Three experienced instructors will be on hand to offer guidance and support at each station.

  • Station 1 – Basivertebral nerve denervation + facet joint diagnosis
  • Station 2 – Basivertebral nerve denervation + facet joint diagnosis
  • Station 3 – 7StarScope – basic diagnostic procedures from daily clinical practice
  • Station 4 – 7StarScope – basic diagnostic procedures from daily clinical practice
  • Station 5 – 7StarScope – Peripheral Nerve Stimulation

The workshop fee is non-refundable. However, for applicants who cannot attend, IPA will first offer a replacement seat at another IPA event. Otherwise, a refund of the workshop fee will not be refunded.

PLEASE NOTE: Attendees who fall ill before or during the event, will be asked to leave for the safety and well-being of others in attendance.

In rare cases in which an applicant is not approved to attend the workshop, a 100% refund will be issued. Refunds can take up to 30 days to process.
