Dr. Ruiz López is a recognized expert in Neurosurgery, Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, Pain Interventional Procedures, and Regenerative Medicine Therapies.
In his academic work, he serves as an editorial advisor for several medical journals and has published numerous papers on pain management and interventional pain treatments. He has also served as President of the 2nd EFIC Congress (European Federation of IASP Chapters) “Pain in Europe”, Barcelona, and the 3rd World Congress of Pain of the WIP (World Institute of Pain), Barcelona.
He is currently the President and Medical Director of Clínica Vertebra, Barcelona Spine & Pain Surgery Center. He is also a founding member of several national and international medical societies in the fields of Pain and Pain Surgery. In addition, he is a visiting professor and lecturer at universities in Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
