Dr. Ganesan Baranidharan is a highly respected Consultant in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, where he has worked since 2006 and currently serves as Clinical Lead for Pain Medicine. He is the Elected Dean of the Faculty of Pain Medicine (FPM) and a long-standing member of its leadership, as well as an FFPMRCA examiner.
An Honorary Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Leeds, Dr. Baranidharan has played a pivotal role in developing the Leeds Neuromodulation Centre into one of the leading units in Europe. He is internationally recognised for his work in neuromodulation and neuropathic pain, chairs the Dataset Committee of the UK National Neuromodulation Registry, and is actively involved in research, education, and professional standards within pain medicine.
