Dr. Amar Salti is a highly experienced anesthesiologist and interventional pain specialist with more than 20 years of clinical practice. He currently serves as a Staff Physician in the Pain Medicine Department at the Neurological Institute of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Before joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, he worked for four years at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City and twelve years at Zayed Military Hospital in Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Salti completed his medical studies at René Descartes University in Paris, followed by a fellowship in Anesthesia and Intensive Care at Bichat Hospital. He holds French board certifications in both Anesthesia and Pain Medicine and is also a recipient of the European Diploma in Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine awarded by the European Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (ESRA).
Throughout his career, Dr. Salti has been instrumental in developing acute and regional anesthesia services in several hospitals in Paris, contributing significantly to postoperative and chronic pain management programs. At Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, he served as Head of the Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine Division, where he was responsible for postoperative pain initiatives and the chronic pain clinic.
Dr. Salti is an active educator who regularly participates in international conferences, workshops, and academic projects. He has contributed to major textbooks and peer-reviewed journals and currently serves as Chairman of NYSORA Middle East. He resides in Abu Dhabi with his family and enjoys playing volleyball and maintaining an active lifestyle.
