After completing his Diploma in Anaesthesia from Mumbai University, India, He has pursued and completed anaesthetic training in the UK. He is currently on the GMC specialist register after completion. He has structured his training to achieve competencies and qualities required to be a consultant in Anaesthesia and Chronic Pain. He has done advanced pain training in Nottingham and East Midlands school of anaesthesia  and obtained his diploma in Pain Medicine from College of Anaesthetists of Ireland. He is proficient in using ultrasound for chronic pain management and regional anaesthesia and attained Certification of Pain Sonologist (CIPS) from the World Institute of Pain.

He has demonstrated effective leadership and communication skills in his day to day activities. He is on a LNC (Local Negotiating Committee) which reviews/ advises the trust regarding various policies and procedures.
