He is a specialist in minimally invasive and endoscopic pain treatment and a certified anesthesiologist and intensivist for Sweden, Norway and the United Kingdom. He holds a master degree in ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia and pain management. He belongs to a group of leading experts in the field of pain treatment using interventional techniques under X-ray and ultrasound control. He works as an international consultant for interdisciplinary medical teams in complicated cases associated with chronic back pain. He is the chief physician of EuroPainClinics in Sweden. His clinical practice includes many years of work at the Norrlands University Hospital in Umeå and Sunderby in Luleå and in many European centers, e.g. in Denmark, the United Kingdom.
