Head of the Pain Management Center (acredited algesiology department) at the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine at the University Hospital in Pilsen, Czech Republic.

He is a certified anesthesiologist and pain specialist. For 30 years he has been dealing with the treatment of chronic non-cancer and cancer pain. He is the vice-chairman of the Czech Pain Society. In his clinical practice he focuses on the issue of opioids and, above all, interventional pain management (fluoroscopy, ultrasound and CT navigation using radiofrequency and cryoanalgesia) and neuromodulation procedures (SCS, IDDS). He participates in the organization of regular hands-on cadaver workshops focused on interventional pain procedures. Dr. Lejčko is an examiner for algesiology certification in Czech Republic. He is an author and co-author of many scientific publications.
