Dr. Jose DE ANDRES is a tenured Professor of Anesthesiology at the Valencia School of Medicine and a leading international expert in pain management. He currently serves as Chief Medical Officer of the Pain Department at VITHAS Hospitals in Valencia, Spain.
His extensive postgraduate training includes fellowships and advanced clinical experience in the United Kingdom (Royal Infirmary, Abingdon; Oxford), the United States (Texas Tech University), and the Netherlands, among others.
With over 25 years of clinical and research experience, Dr. De Andrés holds prestigious international qualifications, including FIPP (Fellow in Interventional Pain Practice), the European Diploma in Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Therapy (EDRA), and the European Diploma in Pain Medicine (EDPM). He is the author of hundreds of peer-reviewed scientific publications and book chapters, serves on editorial boards of major international journals, and is deeply involved in medical education, clinical innovation, and advanced neuromodulation and neurostimulation techniques for the treatment of chronic pain.
